Description
This resource includes two original reading passages. The first text focuses on Earth Day, and the second passage is about Arbor Day.
Students respond after reading by:
-Using the information in the passage to answer comprehension questions
-Generating questions/thoughts after reading
-Comparing and contrasting the two holidays.
Read and Respond can be used in three ways:
1.Assign student slides using Google Classroom. Students read the text passages digitally and respond by typing answers on the response slides. You will not need to print any paper with this method.
2. Print response pages (in pdf) for each student. Display a reading passage on the projector screen and read the passage together. Students can answer the response pages on paper and turn in.
3. Print passages and response pages for students from the PDF resource. The pages are provided in color and black and white.
This resource includes:
