Earth Day Projects is a persuasive writing choice board research project that guides students through the writing process as they learn more about the Earth and current environmental issue. Earth Day Projects gives students the chance to become an expert on one environmental issue. Students will discuss reliable sources, and what they already know about the Earth and the environment before diving into research. Students will take the facts about the environmental issue that they gather and choose from 9 projects to present. Earth Day Projects will help students grow their understanding of the environmental issues on Earth and the actions they can take to help while practicing the writing process, research skills, and presentation skills.
