Description

This collection of Earth Day math word problems is great for teaching kids about important environmental issues while practicing key math skills. The 20 word problems vary in difficulty level and skills addressed, but are recommended for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. These problems are great for warm-up problems, games, and small group tasks. A teacher tips page, Common Core Math standards, a list of sources for the environmental facts used in the problems, and an answer key is included for your convenience.
