This musically interactive litter hunt activity will get your children thinking about what they do with their litter and motivate them to spread the word, "If you see a piece of litter pick it up!"

Teach your children the Litter Hunt song.
Take them outdoors to do a litter hunt while singing the song.
Sort and tally the litter on the chart.
Have a discussion about what they found more of and what they found less of.
Ask: Were you surprised by what you found? What can you do to decrease the amount of litter found outdoors?
Discuss the 3 R’s and brainstorm ways to help save the Earth
