Description

A fantastic, fun activity for Earth Day, or to learn about conservation, human impacts on the environment, weather, and climate change, or conservation, all while working on skills like team building, perseverance, critical thinking, and using a Growth Mindset! Ideal for students grades 2 - 12.

Recommended Use:

Allow children to attempt the digital breakout challenge activities individually, in pairs, small teams, or as a whole class. Share the clues with your students, either by sharing the Google Slides of the clues with your students (two versions to choose from: with or without lock hints) or printing out hardcopies. You may wish to provide the code planner sheet for students to work through before inputting their codes into the digital breakout Google Form. You may wish to pre-print the prize printable puzzle for your students, and pass out after everyone has finished. Share the link to the Google Form with your students, or project it, if filling in the codes as a whole class. An answer key is included for the teacher, though perseverance, critical thinking, and a Growth Mindset are key skill to promote in digital breakouts, so giving hints/answers is not recommended.

Includes:

•6 Digital Breakout Locks (in Google Form)

•6 Clues WITH Lock Hints (in Google Slides)

•6 Clues WITHOUT Lock Hints (in Google Slides)

•Student Code Planner

•Teacher’s Guide and Answer Key

•Printable Prize
