Earth Day Activity Bundle - Preschool April Numbers, Shapes and Literacy Centers

Looking for engaging Earth Day-themed activities for your Preschool, Kindergarten or Special Education classroom? Great for April lessons and environmental themes, this bundle contains 3 fun games and centers for practicing the alphabet, numbers, and shapes!

✅For shapes, there is clip card set for giving students hands-on practice as they develop both fine motor skills and shape recognition! You can either use clothespins or manipulatives for covering the shapes--whatever is best for your students!

✅For literacy, there are 3 sets of alphabet matching puzzles for practicing matching uppercase, lowercase, or uppercase/lowercase letters. You can also mix them into a sensory bin, or send your kids on an alphabet scavenger hunt to find each letter's pair. It's easy to get creative with these cards!

✅Finally for numbers, there is a TWO-IN-ONE set of ten frame mats and two sets of number cards, perfect for counting and number formation. These resources are very versatile, and can be easily adapted to fit each student. A few fun ideas for use are:

✨Using the blank mat, play a "flip and count" game with the number cards--use them as a deck of cards and flip one over at a time to count with. Alternatively, use a dice and make it a "roll and count" game!

✨Mix the number cards into a sensory bin for creative twist! Choose a number card from the bin to represent on the counting mat.

✨Use either the daisies or hearts as counters, or use your own! Count artificial flowers, blue and green Pom Poms (add in tweezers for a fine motor challenge!), or Play Dough...or have your students draw the counters in with a dry erase marker!

✨Use the Earth heart and daisy number cards together for a fun counting matching game!
