What educators are saying
Description
Looking for a versatile and engaging practice folder for your kindergarten or first-grade students? This top-quality practice folder is perfect for early finishers or morning work activities! With a wide range of pages to choose from, your students will have plenty of opportunities to practice essential skills, including writing their name, numbers, letters, shapes, and much more. Whether you're looking to reinforce basic skills or introduce new concepts, this practice folder is the ideal tool to help your students achieve success. Get ready to supercharge your students' learning by using this practice folder!
Directions: Print the pages ( I do NOT recommend printing two-sided) and insert the pages into quality page protectors. I recommend putting them in the order they are in the product, but any order will be fine. Insert the page protectors into three-pronged folders ( I highly recommend using plastic folders for durability) or binders. Then give your students a dry erase marker and an eraser and they are ready to start practicing! For the name writing practice, I usually write their name on the first line with a marker so that they will have it right there with them to practice. If your students are beyond practicing writing their name, feel free to leave this page out or you could even write their name in cursive and let them practice that way.
When to use: I LOVE using these the first couple of weeks of school as writing practice. I schedule this time into my day. I can teach the procedure for using dry erase markers and my students get to practice the very important skill of writing their name, tracing, and letter/number formation. After the first couple of weeks of school, I use these primarily as an early finisher activity. They also work GREAT for morning work. My favorite thing about using practice folders? They can be used over and over all year! No more making daily copies of practice work! No more wasting paper!
What you will need:
•Page protectors –Please learn from my mistakes and DO NOT use the cheap .88 cent page protectors from Walmart. They may be under a dollar for a pack of eight or so, but they are terrible, and it is worth spending more money for page protectors that will hold up.
•Plastic folders or three ring binders for each student
•Dry erase markers
•Something for students to use to erase ( baby socks or facial scrubbers from Dollar Tree work great)
•Optional: binder pencil pouch to keep the marker and eraser inside the binder/folder
