What educators are saying

My students were very engaged while using this resource. I felt it was a good hands on resource for them to use while working on graphing in the coordinate plane.
My students love these coordinate plane activities. I give them the untitled option, and they spend so much time guessing which emoji it is!

Description

This resource includes all of my coordinate graphing math activities for ordered pairs on the coordinate plane in quadrant 1, only!

Please note: Most of the thumbnails are my hand drawn images of the 4 quadrant graphs; however, this download includes coordinates that will create the same images in quadrant 1 only.

This bundle currently includes all 58 emojis I have listed in my store in one easy to print document. Check out the list of emojis in the preview!

You will receive:

• Table of Contents (cheat sheet for page numbers and names of each emoji)

• Coordinates for 58 emojis WITH titles (name of emoji)

• Coordinates for 58 emojis WITHOUT titles (This version just says " I <3 emojis" at the top of each page. This allows for some extra fun with added suspense when graphing!)

Also please note, ordered pairs may contain decimals (halves only) such as (1.5, 6).

You will see popular emojis as well as holiday emojis. Once finished and colored, they make the perfect rotating bulletin board for your classroom!

PERFECT for "early finishers"!!!

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Find and position integers and other rational numbers on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram; find and position pairs of integers and other rational numbers on a coordinate plane.
