    Description

This month long unit is everything you need and more to teach your students about the dangers of addiction, drugs and alcohol. This isn't your traditional powerpoint lecture, these are fun activities that engage the students and makes them think deeper about their choices regarding what they put inside their bodies.

There are station activities, simulation games, and "whats that drug" challenges along with google slides lessons that provoke thoughtful conversation. I also added many case studies of teenagers their age so they can connect more to the material.

This unit takes anywhere from 3-4 weeks depending on how long you make the project and if you choose to complete all the station activities or shorten them to fit within the class period. It is best for grades 9-12 / High School however upper middle schoolers could benefit as well.
