Description

Thank you for your interest in this resource pack. Three resources are included, a PowerPoint file (*.pptx), a Word document (*.docx) and a PDF file (*.pdf). The contents of the PDF file are identical to the Word document and is there in case you are unable to use the Word document properly. Both MS Office files were created with MS Office 2013.

The PowerPoint file contains 11 slides and Word Document / PDF file contains 9 worksheets. The answers for the worksheets are part of the slides. The slides are intended to be printed off (6 per side of A4) for the students, so that they do not need to spend the lesson copying things from the screen.

This lesson continues from Part 1 which is where students learn how to draw quadratic graphs with their names in vertex form. In this slideshow, they learn how to write expressions in the form y=ax^2+bx+c in vertex form and whether vertices are maxima or minima. They then learn the co-ordinates of the vertex for a parabola and then draw quadratics that are written in the form y=ax^2+bx+c.

You are welcome to edit the files as you see fit.
Thanks and happy teaching!
