Description
This is a really scaffolded drama project that works for either unit - VOICE or rehearsed IMPROV within a high school drama course.
It's a really fun one - they get crazy with it! They turn out fantastic.
It asks them to create a movie trailer for a movie that doesn't exist - they have to include a narrator, music, act out the main scenes etc.
I make these bigger groups of 4-5 students, which works out great.
Included in this package is:
- A description of the project
- 2 planning sheets for them to organize their ideas (I make them hand this in for marks)
- A teacher resource with film titles for you to pick from (I always let them pick from a hat - creates such a buzz!)
- A rubric to make marking easy

TIP - I always show them great movie trailers on YouTube before we start. They often will want to watch trailers for movies that are out right now - it's a great way to hook them!
