Division Strategies Powerpoint with Graphic Organizers

This is a great powerpoint to complete while you are teaching division strategies or after you have taught students different ways to solve division problems. This powerpoint goes through solving division through repeated subtraction, drawing pictures, drawing arrays, and using the inverse to solve a division problem. This is a very interactive lesson that keeps students actively engaged. Students will first discuss each strategy in the powerpoint. Then, they will solve a division word problem using only the strategy that was just discussed. Then, there is a multiple choice/test taking question that goes with each strategy. A journal activity/question is included as a summarizer. Included at the end of the lesson are 5 division graphic organizers that are great for solving division problems in a variety of ways.
