There's no better way to review Author's Purpose than with these amazing Disney/Pixar short films. Watch a movie as a classroom or invite students to explore the texts independently... then discuss story elements, author's purpose, morals/lessons, and much much more!

Teacher Note - There is the word "ass" at 5:08 in Purl. For this reason, I have created TWO slides. One is PG (without Purl) and one is UNCENSORED (including PURL). Feel free to delete the slide that you choose not to use. (My students did not have any issues with the language. It was addressed before any viewing happened and none of them even seemed to notice. However, I wanted to ensure that you had the opportunity to make this choice for yourself!)
