This resource includes 120 Digital Writing Prompts for you to get your students writing all year long!

There are 10 digital writing prompts for each of the 12 months. While some are themed for the month (for example, “Holidays Around the World” in December), others can be used anytime (for example, “If I were a superhero…” in August could be used in any month).

This resource is currently available as an editable Google Slides™ file that you will add to your Google Drive. Instructions are included on how it can be used/assigned in Google Classroom™.

This resource includes:

• 120 digital writing prompts (10 prompts for each month of the year)
• Instructions on how to edit, use, and assign in Google Classroom™
• Editable questions/directions for each writing prompt for teachers to adapt the instructions if needed

In this resources you can EDIT the directions on each page if you’d like to change them for your students (for example, you can give more detailed instructions like, “Write 2-3 sentences.” or “Write your opinion and give two reasons to support it.”) The students can click the “Type here” text box to type their response. The heading, clipart, and format are not editable.

These digital writing prompts can be used in so many ways to keep your students writing! You can assign them to students for:
