What educators are saying

My students loved this. There was a great mix of ELA and math resources. My student especially loved the directive drawing part.
My students had so much fun doing these activities and games! It was a great way to end before starting our Thanksgiving break! Thank you!

Description

Easily plan a fun and engaging Thanksgiving Harvest party with these digital Thanksgiving party games! There is more than enough to last the whole party and keep your little turkeys engaged! 6 digital Thanksgiving activities are included in both PowerPoint and Google Slides. Guess Who will only work in PowerPoint.

These digital Thanksgiving activities are no prep, so they can also be completed during morning work, centers, or as a fast finishers activity.

1. GUESS WHO (oral language game):

Read the first clue to the students (see the following page for clues). Have the students name the pictures that do not match the clue. Click on the pictures that do not belong, and they will disappear (make sure the game is in presentation mode). Continue revealing clues and removing any pictures that do not belong until the class has correctly guessed the character. This game will only work in PowerPoint.

2. DINNERTIME CAM (mystery picture game):

Your students will see a zoomed-in portion of a larger picture on the Dinnertime (magic) Cam. They will try to guess what the Thanksgiving feast picture is based on this small glimpse. Three different clues will be given to help them guess the picture. Each clue will appear on a different slide. The mystery picture will be revealed on the last slide. There are 10 mystery pictures included. Google Slides and PowerPoint

3. DIRECTED DRAWING (how-to draw a turkey and pie):

Students will learn how to draw a turkey and pie. Each directed drawing includes 8 simple steps with easy to replicate lines. These steps build upon the previous step. Google Slides and PowerPoint

4. TURKEY TROT (gross motor movement game):

This game can be used to play Charades or Scarecrow Says. It can also be used as a brain break activity. Google Slides and PowerPoint

5. GOBBLING UP SOUNDS (middle sounds game):

That quirky turkey is hiding a silly surprise inside the barn! Help the farmer figure out the surprise by dragging the correct short vowel sound to the middle haystack.
There are 20 slides included (four for each short vowel sound). Google Slides and PowerPoint

6. SWEET AS PIE SEQUENCING (number order game):

That tricky turkey has mixed up all of the pumpkin pies! Help the baker put the pies back in order by dragging them into the correct sequence. There are 18 slides included (numbers 0-20). Google Slides and PowerPoint
