Description
This is a hyperlinked digital journal so that you can grade papers and record student grades anywhere. This journal has 6 subject areas- phonics, reading, social studies, writing, science, and math. Each subject area has grades for quarter 1, 2, 3, and 4 and 24 assignment pages for each grade and quarter. That is over 600+ pages of recording sheets hyperlinked together so that you can access the page you want quickly and easily!
I use Goodnotes5 on my iPad to take digital notes on everything in my classroom. You must have that app or another digital notetaking app such as Notability to use this resource effectively.
This digital gradebook is great for teachers who take quick formatives often (like me). I like to have data on all assessments I give- even tickets-out-the door. Within my digital gradebook, I take a photo of the assessment, paste my students names into the spreadsheet, and mark down every answer they got incorrect. I then pull students into a small group for each answer they missed to reteach them the skill. I take my small group notes in my gradebook to have proof for my administrator that I worked with students who had a misconception.
