Description
It is lots of fun to practice counting money with this interactive game made to be played with the whole class on an interactive whiteboard or individually on a Windows desktop or laptop.
There are four levels of difficulty to choose from, so you can change the game to suit the level of your class. Level 1 covers counting money from 1 cent to 50 cents, level 2 from 50 cents to 99 cents, level 3 from 1 dollar to ten dollars, and finally level 4 covers counting money up to 100 dollars.
Players drag and drop the money images into the jar and then check their work to see if they have dropped the right amount. If they haven't, they can keep adding money or taking it away until they reach the correct amount.
There are fun noises along the way and applause when the correct amount is reached. The game changes every time so students will get practice counting money out to all different amounts.
This product is a valuable tool for anyone teaching money counting skills.

The resource works on many different devices, including desktops, laptops, Macs, iPads, Chromebooks, and tablets. Your students will need an internet connection that allows them access to the website where this game is hosted. There is nothing for you to do – just share the link with your students and they will take care of the rest. The user interface is simple and intuitive.
If you wish to make this a group activity, the game can be projected and played on an interactive white board in the classroom. You could also easily use this resource on Zoom by sharing your screen and allowing your students mouse control.
