Description

In this independent study, students will experience what goes into creating a basic business plan. Using the provided directions and examples, students will learn the basic principles of a simple business plan and apply those principles to create a business plan of their own.

This lesson is part of my basic technology in business entrepreneurship course and is designed to be an independent study, primarily for upper elementary, middle and high school students.

In this project students will be able to:

  • understand the basic principles of a business plan
  • explain the function of their business
  • explain their product or service
  • identify their target market
  • determine how they will market their product or service
  • create a one page business plan using Google Docs or Word
