What educators are saying

A great tool for practicing the phonics skills we're doing whole group. Also love that it's teaching my students to evaluate their own needs and find a "just right paper" (e.g. tracing, some letters, writing the whole word.)
This is a great addition to our interactive notebooks. It works perfectly for word work and can be differentiated. It is no prep and students are engaged. Thank you for a great product.

    Description

Just hit print to differentiate your phonics centers! This bundle of phonics word sort activities combines six cut and paste word sort packs, each focusing on different phonics or spelling patterns, in one money-saving bundle.

Each printable activity within the bundle is included in three levels to allow for easy differentiation.

    • The first level of each page asks students to trace the word representing the picture shown and then cut, sort, and paste.

    • The mid-level version asks students to fill in the missing letters and then cut, sort, and paste.

    • The most challenging version asks students to write the words before cutting, sorting, and pasting them. (When using this final set, you may need to take a moment go over what each picture represents orally before students begin.)

A cut and paste recording page and an interactive notebook header option are also included for each activity for those who wish to use these sorts in phonics or spelling interactive notebooks.
