Differentiated Animal Research Project

Here's a research project that allows all levels of students in the primary grades classroom to be successful with informational reading and writing and allows the teacher to cover many of the Common Core standards for informational text. There are three sets of note-taking sheets and two styles of writing paper. There's also three options for students to present their learning to provide students with a bit of choice.Included also are notes on key characteristics and examples of animal groups.

Areas for animal learning include description, habitat, life cycle, and survival skills.
