Dia de los Muertos Standalone Introductory Powerpoint

This is a Powerpoint that will introduce students to Die de los Muertos in one lesson with pictures, a link to a youtube video, and pre- and post- writing exercises designed to help students connect the celebration of this holiday with their own lives and cultures.

Designed to be taught in a 45 minute class.

This lesson also pairs well with a screening of the Pixar movie Coco. A related activity could be building a classroom ofrenda, which this Powerpoint also lays out.
