What educators are saying

My students were exceptionally engaged with this set of mysteries to solve! It was also a great way to get kids looking for clues & putting them together and then writing those thoughts down. Love this!!
I used this with both 4th and 5th graders. The loved working in small groups to infer and solve each case! I will definitely use again next year.

Use in many different ways!

This activity is perfect for literacy stations or reading centers. The passages are great for allowing students to practice supporting their thoughts and conclusions with text evidence. The cards would also make a fun morning work activity or even early finisher challenge! If you prefer to not use the passages in the task card format, you can print the page and not cut the cards out.
