This phonics poetry unit includes 79 different decodable phonics worksheets and activities that focus on different word families, phonemes, and/or phonics patterns.
PLEASE NOTE: As of 9/2022, a decodable set of each poem has been added to this unit! So there will be two completely unique poems (one decodable and one not) for each word family!
★Why Use Phonics Poetry?★
Poetry is such a great way for students to practice fluency, visualization, and phonics skills. I created this unit to help my students practice all these skills and create their own poetry journal throughout the year! They keep their poems in their book bin to read and re-read as the year goes on. It ends up being such a great keepsake for students to take home at the end of the year.
Each word family or phonics skill included in this unit has a simple, original poem written by me, a visualization page, and a practice page for students to record their words and practice real vs. nonsense words.
