    Description

In the Declaration of Independence resource bundle, you receive TWO great resources and activities on the Declaration of Independence that are already top sellers here on Teachers Pay Teachers. Instead of paying $6 for these two activities separately, buy the bundle and save 20%! Both lessons in this product are 1:1 Google compatible -- just follow the included instructions to access the Google versions, then share through Google or assign via Google Classroom!

    Included in this bundle are:

1.) The Declaration of Independence Scavenger Hunt

Students will complete a "Declaration of Independence" Scavenger Hunt in this lesson! Students can work in either teams or individually (I'd recommend teams in Middle School) to complete this lesson. There are 32 questions that students will be responsible for hunting down. You will need to use a copy of the Declaration of Independence - our textbook works perfectly and yours will too!

2.) Declaration of Independence: "In Your Words" Chart"

In this lesson, students read 8 excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, translate the text into 21st-century words, create a visual aid, then focus on an overarching question to understand the impact of this historic document.
