Daniel's Story: Pictures of the Holocaust

Use this Powerpoint to accompany Daniel's Story by Carol Matas. I usually do this story as a read aloud during our studies of the Holocaust and the students enjoy viewing the images I've collected that illustrate various aspects of the novel. The novel is broken into parts and so is the slideshow, so you and your class and follow along. Photos collected include the Hilter Youth, appropriate images from concentration camps (no nudity or extreme violence), passports, badges, and transports to help students better visualize the events of the novel. You may edit the slideshow to include more photos or descriptions to best suit your needs.
