Description
This worksheet is intended to be paired with the slideshow presentation 100 Years of Dance. Students will watch 5 video clips in total. Each clip focuses on the dance trends of one particular decade - covering the 20s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Students should take notes as they watch videos provided in the slideshow - noting trends and similarities. At the conclusion of each video, students will answer questions provided in this product, such as: List the popular dances from this decade, Are people mostly dancing by themselves or with a partner? Are the dancers staying in the same place or moving around? What parts of the body seem to be moving the most? Summarize your impressions of the dances in this decade and compare them with previous decades.
