What educators are saying

My students really liked this activity for the first few weeks, but then they found it to be a little repetitive. They still enjoyed it however

Description

I created these to use weekly with my high school students with disabilities. Each week was structured (Monday mistakes, Tuesday terms using context clues, Wednesday Wise Words that ask students to infer what a quote means, Thursday thinking using prefixes/suffixes, and Friday Free for all which incorporates multiples skills such as sentences/fragments, grammar rules, and figurative language) to help keep students focused and engaged. By focusing on only one skill per day, we could dig deeper before moving on to the day's activities.

Students used these each week, and it helped keep them on a routine while exposing them to quotes, context clues, and prefixes/suffixes. I have a lot of success with these weekly.

These could easily be used in an elementary classroom with typically developing students up to high school students with disabilities. My classes are comprised of mainly 9th and 10th graders.

Since this product is in google docs, you can edit it to fit your needs by making a copy. It can also be added directly to a student's google classroom assignment for easy tracking and monitoring.
