Description
This bundle contains four resources that together contain all 12 fonts in my "School Cursive" font family. You can install these fonts on your Windows or MacOS computer.

School Cursive is a high quality font family using advanced OpenType features to give you the best experience possible.
What makes this font high-quality?
- With 14 versions of every letter, the font is able to create connections that flow perfectly smoothly from one letter to the next, without discontinuities.
- The connections from the letter b, o, v and w don't "dip deep", but stay close to the midline, just like they do in the main handwriting curricula such as D'Nealian handwriting by Savvas.
- The letters have a consistent slant. Even the e after b/v/o/w has the same slant to the right as the other letters.
- The letters have a constant line thickness and rounded ends. They look exactly like what you would get if you wrote with a modern (round tipped) pen.
- You can enlarge the letters to full page size and they will still look good!
- The font contains all the accented characters and interpunction needed for Spanish and French language.
The 6 fonts with guides have the following guides (lines) integrated into the font: baseline, midline and headline.
The fonts "School Cursive Arrows" and "School Cursive Arrows with guides" have one arrow for most leters, but add additional numbered arrows for those letters in which the pen is lifted.
The fonts "School Cursive Arrows2" and "School Cursive Arrows2 with guides" have more arrows. Al changes of direction (reversals and sharp angles) get an arrow. Arrows that indicate locations where the pen is placed after a lift are distinguished from other arrows with a little circle.

This is an OpenType font (OTF) that uses advanced OpenType features to connect letters together. OpenType fonts are supported by both Windows and MacOs. The features required to connect letters together are supported by many modern applications, see the list below:
Supported applications
- Microsoft Word 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021 - you must change the settings to enable the required features. See page 4 of the preview provided on this page or the PDF documentation included with your download.
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 and higher - required features are enabled by default
- LibreOffice, Scrivener, NisusWriter, Pages, TextEdit, Musescore - required features are enabled by default
Partially supported applications
These applications do not support OpenType. It is not possible to create or edit text in these applications, because the letters will not be connected. However, I've made a webpage that generates text for you can be copy-pasted into these applications:
- Microsoft Powerpoint (all versions)
Not supported applications
Some applications do not allow you to use downloaded fonts at all:
- Google Docs
- Word Online
