Description

This is a Google Docs hyperdoc that's great for online, blended, remote, hybrid, and self-paced student learning. There is some prep to do beforehand (see below), but otherwise, it should run itself so students can learn about coordinate adjectives at their own pace.

This is a perfect little mini-unit for students to:

•review adjective order

•learn coordinate vs cumulative adjectives

•practice when to use commas with adjectives

•work independently at their own pace
*Only after step 5 do you need to check on the students’ document and provide feedback on their work before they take the test.

BEFORE ASSIGNING, YOU WILL NEED:

•Devices & internet access for every student

NoRedInk free accounts for you & your students

--> set up the assignment/quiz “Commas with Adjectives”

--> You may want to change the link to go directly to the assignment

Nearpod accounts for you

--> set up the student self-paced unit for “Coordinate Adjectives”

--> This is linked within the doc already, but they will need the code

•Your own copy of the Google Forms assessment

--> The link in the Doc will force you to make a copy, so you will need to change the hyperlink within the hyperdoc to go to YOUR copy
