Description

Teach your students about the Cuban Revolution using this DBQ consisting of multiple primary and secondary sources.

Students will analyze 7 documents total by reading primary and secondary sources detailing specific events from the Cuban Revolution and corresponding questions for each document. The documents include diverse accounts of the Cuban Revolution with various perspectives on the event including diary entries written by Che Guevara, an excerpt from Fidel Castro's famous speech "History Will Absolve Me," Cuban and American newspaper/online articles. The DBQ also includes a Pre-Document section featuring a timeline of key events with questions and important vocabulary terms.

The file contains both PDF and Word Doc versions of this resource, so you are able to edit the DBQ to fit the needs of your students.
