Description

Cuban Missile Crisis: Kennedy v. Khrushchev Primary Source Analysis takes students back to October 27th, 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The U.S. and the Soviet union was on the verge of nuclear war and it was up to two people to negotiate the fate of the world. Students examine the letters that Kennedy and Khrushchev exchanged during their negotiations that led to a peaceful settlement. This can be used in class or as homework as it’s a completely stand alone assignment. This is also perfect for substitute teacher plans. A key is included.
