Description

This simple but very sophisticated 2-page handout asks your students what makes THEM tick creatively. Enjoyable for them, and incredibly useful for you as an instructor, on multiple fronts.

Learn your students’ writing habits, peccadillos, hang-ups, and what they are actually most interested in doing in your class. Find out what they may be most concerned or worried about as well.

The answers provided by the students on these two-page handouts, if properly perused by the instructor, can be utilized to great advantage later in the semester or term towards writing prompts, exercises, lessons or activities mentioned by your own students!

Implementation Suggestion: 30-minute class work activity. Instructor may consider using this handout for one of the very first days of class. Students may write quietly, and then if time allows, may be encouraged to share one of their answers.

As an alternative, educator may elect to use this as a thoughtful homework exercise, and use the answers they provided in this exercise as an opening, 20-minute classroom discussion on the next day of class.

It is always recommended by PerfettoWritingRoom that the instructor collect any assignment for a participation assessment – classwork or homework – in addition to using it as an opportunity to create future, tailored lesson plans that most benefit your students.

Life's messy - but at PerfettoWritingRoom, we say write about it!
