“Crash Course Film Production” is a YouTube series that is fast paced, packed with information, and gives an overview of many of the basic aspects of film production. The series walks your students through the steps of producing a film, from finding a screenplay and pitching, to production, the important roles vital to the creation of a film, post-production,and marketing. Though the episodes are dense with facts, Gladstone explains the film production in a knowledgeable way that reaches all learners, while still succeeding in making it fun, light-hearted, and relevant for students. These episodes not teach students about film production, but make it applicable for students so that they can put the information to use right away in their own lives and film-making endeavors.
