Number Play Dough Activity Mats

Number activities, numeral recognition, and counting fun for your preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten kids. Play dough ten frame math and number mats can be used with a variety of materials. I have also included a cover so that you can make a number book.

This activity includes:

• a set of 0-20 play dough mats in black and white
• 1 black and white cover
• printable black and white counters
• a set of 0-20 play dough mats in full color
• 1 full color cover page
• printable full color counters

To use the pages as play dough mats you will need to print and laminate the full color or black & white mats. Kids can use a coil of play dough to fill in the large number and can place balls of play dough on the ten frames. In addition to play dough, the pages can be used with many other materials. Here are some ideas:

✔Use the black and white pages as coloring pages

✔Use the black and white pages with a cover and create a number coloring book

✔Use small items like buttons, coins, erasers, etc. to fill the numeral and the ten frame

✔Use with sculpting foam, sculptin sand, or other sensory materials

✔Use number stamps

These number tracing sheets are a great way to help young children learn to recognize and make numerals. The set includes dot numeral sheets for numbers 0-20.

There are many ways that you can use the Lots of Dots Number Worksheets:

COLOR THE DOTS

✔Use bingo/paint markers.

✔Place a stamp inside each dot.

✔Use paint and a cork to stamp a circle inside of each dot.

FILL THE DOTS

• Use buttons, gems, coins
• Use thematic counters like plastic spiders, bugs, dinosaur erasers, googly eyes, etc.
• Place stickers inside each dot
• Use magnetic chips and pick them up with a magnetic wand when complete
• Use the worksheets on a magnetic board/cookie sheet with magnets

Spin, Toss, & Count Number Activity

Counting and number recognition activities for preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, nursery, childcare, SPED, early intervention, and home school classrooms. The activities can be used with one child, small groups, or large groups and are easily differentiated. They provide a great way to work on number or numeral recognition and reinforce the concepts counting and cardinality in an active, engaging way.

This activity includes the following:

• Small 0-20 number circles (in full color and black & white)
• Large 0-20 number circles (in full color and black & white)
• 0-20 square number signs (in full color and black & white)
• 2 action spinners
• Assembly instructions and ideas for use

Small number circles can be attached to bottle caps or counting chips. Place them in a bag or container. Children can spin the action spinner, select a number from the bag, and perform the action the resulting number of times.

The large number signs can be laminated and placed on the floor in front of children. Children can toss a beanbag to select a number, and spin the action spinner to select an action. Children will be thrilled to get their wiggles out while they learn.

The number signs and circles can be used for matching games as well
