Description

This is a song packet for teaching multiplication of threes. I learned to multiply with songs- they help knowledge stick! My eight year old is singing the recording as a demo- she said "This helps me! I used this in class today when working on Moby Max!"

Included in the packet you will find a demo song, a song wav file with no voice, a song XML File-for reading in other notation programs, a song PDF with notation of parts, in case you would like to use this in your music class, and a Power Point with words for your smart board. This song is super short and easy to include in class- at only 30 seconds long, use it while you are lining up, washing hands, or have kids in line at the bathroom for a super quick, fun, count by 3's review!

I hope you enjoy!

Interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison, e.g., interpret 35 = 5 × 7 as a statement that 35 is 5 times as many as 7 and 7 times as many as 5. Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations.
