Functional Stimuli for Cognitive Retraining: Conversational Working Memory

This task gives patients an opportunity to utilize compensatory strategies (memory strategies, Metacogntive Strategies, paraphrasing, etc.) to encode and recall conversational information presented in "n-back style."

Includes three different levels of difficulty (easy, moderate, and difficult) and four tasks per level (12 activities). Each task has 28-34 cards.

Includes a group version of each task:

• Stimuli page is formatted to display on a larger screen (laptop HDMI to TV)
• Each individual is given an answer sheet
• Consult with your LCD to determine if you can bill for cognitive groups
  

Minimal instructions are included to enable each SLP to utilize their own clinical style and allow use of current and ever-changing EBP strategies. Be creative in the use of these materials!
