Conservation of Momentum - Accident Investigation

This activity is best suited for honors or AP Physics students, however it can be adapted for introductory physics classes. Students are using data collected from a two-vehicle collision to determine whether a car was speeding prior to the collision. Higher level students can be asked to utilize multiple methods for finding a solution. The teacher or instructor will have to print "tire skid marks" to go along with the activity.
