This product is designed specifically for CHORAL CONDUCTORS!
Years ago, after rehearsing my repertoire with my choir for several weeks, I realized I have chosen several pieces in the same tonal center. Irritated by my lack of the "total picture," I was inspired to create a matrix listing all of the important elements of choosing music for my ensemble. By filling in all the contents, I am able to have a clear idea of my entire repertoire...thereby, providing a balanced and engaging choral repertoire for both my students and my audience.
I begin filling out the matrix with my "must have" pieces and then choose the rest of my program to compliment those special pieces.
You may either reproduce the pdf sheet and fill in your items by hand, or use the matrix in the Excel spreadsheet that I have provided.
BE SURE TO LOOK FOR PART 2: REPERTOIRE REHEARSAL to use for conductor prep for each specific piece.
