What educators are saying

This bundle comes with a lot of files! It is really great for guided review of lessons. I like the structure of the review pages, and there are also task cards (called flashcards in this bundle) which are great for stations or group work.
This bundle has everything needed to review for the Algebra 1 eoc. My students found this to be a helpful resource.

    Description

Are you looking for everything you need to review for the Algebra 1 EOC?

This is a bundle of all my EOC/FSA products! It includes the flashcards, standard by standard review, 3 complete practice tests (60 EOC/FSA type questions each), and the EOC challenge (additional 60 EOC/FSA type questions).

All these products have been created based on Florida Math Standards (MAFS) and Common Core Standards. The standards that are included are shown in the preview file. The questions are based on the Florida Algebra 1 EOC Test Item Specifications. The standard groupings and reporting categories are based on the Florida Standard Assessment Test Design Summary for Algebra 1 EOC.

    The topics covered include:

    • Functions
    • Solving Equations
    • Simplifying Expressions
    • Properties
    • Inequalities
    • Graphing
    • Writing Equations
    • Systems of Equations
    • Factoring
    • Quadratic Equations
    • Exponential Equations
    • Transformations
    • Statistics

My best advice for preparing for the EOC: You need two weeks to fully prepare kids - a little more is even better. First week, do the flashcards. Second week, use the practice tests to review EOC type questions. Both weeks, assign two review pages for homework. Use the EOC challenge throughout the year so students are exposed to EOC type questions before the end.

All base files are provided in both pdf and word files. All problems are worked out step by step and an answer keys are provided.

I hope this helps you prepare with your students. Good luck!

Explain how the definition of the meaning of rational exponents follows from extending the properties of integer exponents to those values, allowing for a notation for radicals in terms of rational exponents. For example, we define 5 to the 1/3 power to be the cube root of 5 because we want (5 to the 1/3 power)ยณ = 5 to the (1/3)(3) power to hold, so (5 to the 1/3 power)ยณ must equal 5.
Rewrite expressions involving radicals and rational exponents using the properties of exponents.
Explain why the sum or product of two rational numbers is rational; that the sum of a rational number and an irrational number is irrational; and that the product of a nonzero rational number and an irrational number is irrational.
Interpret expressions that represent a quantity in terms of its context.
Use the structure of an expression to identify ways to rewrite it. For example, see ๐˜นโด โ€“ ๐˜บโด as (๐˜นยฒ)ยฒ โ€“ (๐˜บยฒ)ยฒ, thus recognizing it as a difference of squares that can be factored as (๐˜นยฒ โ€“ ๐˜บยฒ)(๐˜นยฒ + ๐˜บยฒ).
