Comparing Units of Time

This colorful, engaging, and extensive Powerpoint presentation teaches the units of time including second, minutes, hour, day, week, month, year, leap year, decade, century, and millennium. The Powerpoint theme is the Lion King, which is kept consistent throughout (visuals, examples, and questions all surround the theme!) Each slide contains excellent graphics that visually teach and compare each unit of time. Also imbedded within many slides are the links to online resources, including review games. The last three slides feature review word problems for students to solve involving converting one unit of time to another.
