Use this common core aligned Comparison and Contrast Essay Rubric to guide students through the objective writing standards for Compare and Contrast Essays. This rubric has five categories: Introduction, Body Paragraphs, Conclusion, Ideas/Content & Word Choice, Conventions/Format. Descriptions are detailed and specific with terminology directly from the Common Core standards – excellent for using as a teaching tool with your students!
