Community Skills

This product can be used to introduce or review community safety skills and behavior skills for various community outings.

The Community Safety Skills topics includes:
-Staying with your group
-Street safety
-Standing in line
-Being flexible when things change
-Asking for help

Each Community Safety Skill is presented in written format, with the use of visuals and helpful tips, and comes in both color and black and white formats. The Community Safety Skills portion includes 2 practice worksheets, a graphic organizer (in 3 different levels), and a journal writing page (in 3 different levels) to reinforce each safety skill.

The Community Behavior Skills topics include:
-Park
-Store
-Fast food restaurant
-Sit down restaurant
-Museum
-Movie theater

Each Community Behavior Skill is presented in written format, with the use of visuals and helpful tips, and comes in both color and black and white formats. The Community Behavior portion includes 1 review worksheet (in 3 different levels) to reinforce the behavior skills learned for each community place.

Bulletin board letters and headings are included to use for a Community Skills bulletin board to display safety and behavior skills for reference, and can also include student pictures and journals recapping their community outings.
