Description

Common Core Writing Assignments For a Whole Quarter. 8 different writing activities (the research paper assignment is two weeks long) that can be completed over the course of a 9-Weeks grading period. Each handout has two versions, one with the standard or standards that are the focus and one without the standards that is also more ink friendly. Each handout has an assignment that goes with the standards. Includes landscape slides for your whiteboard and rubrics for evaluation. Writing activities include persuasive, argument, narrative, descriptive, comparison/contrast, expository, reading response, and 2 weeks of research, all based on the standards. Developed for grade 7, but will work for grades 6 - 8 very well. G8RCVRV Please see preview.
