Description

Common Core Standard Informational Text RI.2.2: Identify the main topic of a multi-paragraph text as well as the focus of specific paragraphs within the text.

In this printable worksheet students read two texts (4-5 paragraphs each), one on camping and one on rodeos. As they are reading they determine the focus of each of the paragraphs from a multiple-choice list. At the end of each complete text they identify the main topic of the entire multi-paragraph text. This printable is designed for a 3rd-5th grade reading levels. Answers provided.
