Common Core: Order of Operations Puzzle! Math Puzzle for Grades 6 and up

Order of Operations Puzzle meets Common Core Standards. This puzzle will give your students practice with simplifying numeric expressions, while problem solving too. This puzzle is designed for students in Grades 6 and up (depending on level). I have used this as an individual, partner, cooperative team activity. Students like the challenge of determining the correct answer (it is self checking) and of creating the final triangle. This puzzle directly addresses both the Common Core Standards for grade 6 and NCTM Standards for middle grades.
