Common Core Narrative Writing Lessons (gradual release of responsibility model)

Included are five different narrative writing prompts. These lessons will help your students find success in writing narrative paragraphs, letters and essays.

These lessons are designed so that you follow the gradual release of responsibility model. Each lesson can be used, with that model in mind.

These are fun prompts that students will enjoy sharing their stories that they create and are all aligned to the common core. The process is a step by step method so that even very young children are sure to find sucess with these writings.
