What educators are saying

This was such a fun and easy way to review number knowledge skills. I loved the different representations.

Description

Looking for an exciting way to review 1.NBT.2 Place Value for First Grade? Here it is..and in a fun, INTERACTIVE powerpoint! With 30 practice problems, your students will get lots of review.

1.NBT.2 is Understanding Place Value
1.NBT.2 Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
1.NBT.2.a 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones - called a "ten."
1.NBT.2.b The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
1.NBT.2.c The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).

This powerpoint comes in two versions: with answers and without answers. There is a recording sheet for assessment. An answer key is also included.

I have also discovered an EXCELLENT iPad app called SlideShark that I recommend adding to your iPad. It's free and easy to set up and use. I uploaded this lesson and it looks like an app on the ipad, so your students can practice anywhere in the room. The lesson now looks and works just like an app!

If you have a smartboard or any other type of interactive whiteboard, you can also use the projection from those and just use the interactive portion without having to convert the file to whatever it is you use! If you're able to "play" a regular powerpoint, you should be able to play this one too!

Did you know that when you provide feedback on an item, you get credits that can be used later in a TpT store! Make sure to leave feedback in order to get this great discount!
