I use these color and number word flash cards with my Pre-K students. I made them specifically without any picture clues so they would learn to read the word by recognition of the word only! I use them with my alphabet and numbers 1-30 flashcards I made and the children LOVE them and have learned them very quickly! I print them out on cardstock, laminate them and punch a hole in the top left corner. There are four on each page to fit a standard 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper or cardstock. I then use a jump ring to keep them all together. I made a second copy and put them in my writing center for the children to use during their free center time.
