    Description

In this bundle you will get 2 color theory presentations, a click and drag handout (2 versions of the same handout), and a color wheel students can print out and complete. Everything in this bundle can be used in a traditional classroom setting or assigned to students virtually.

    - Color Theory presentation - has 56 slides that cover 17 Color Theory vocabulary terms. Entrance and exit tickets are included along with a 12 question quiz (answers included) to help students apply the concepts and to prompt discussion. You can use this resource during your in-person or remote learning lessons or you can post it in Google classroom as a flipped learning opportunity or individual assignment.

    - Interactive Color Wheel handout - can be used to give students experience blending primary colors to complete the remaining colors on a color wheel or as an assessment to identify where students are at with the concepts addressed in the Color Theory presentation. You could provide this resource as a note taking tool/activity to complete while you are delivering the Color Theory presentation and provide it to students again as a final assessment.

    - Color wheel handout - can be printed and given to students so they can practice mixing colors with various art medians (i.e. crayons, color pencils, paint, etc.).

    - Color Theory Experiment - This is a fun activity you can use to see how projected colors (and the lack of color) play with your eyes. The colors can have a different effect on each person who views them. You can use this activity to spark discussion and embed the scientific method into your art instruction.

    - Abstract Kandinsky Flowers Art Project - Create whimsical Kandinsky-style flowers that seem to dance and move. the juxtaposition of cool to warm hues and geometric to organic shapes will give the appearance of rhythm and movement. This is a fun project for Valentine's Day or an opportunity to surprise others with an act of kindness!

I hope you find these resources engaging and add a bit of spark to your art lessons. Thank you for visiting and Enjoy :)
