Description
Collective Nouns Dominoes Matching Game - Persons: These cards feature collective nouns that are all applied to groups of persons ⛹.
Use these Collective Noun Domino Cards to keep your students engaged in a fun activity that encourages reading and matching. This game is ideal for re-teaching and reinforcement of collective nouns (people).
These cards have twenty-four pairs of collective nouns and their matching 'people groups', some of them are: a choir of singers, a crew of sailors, a caravan of gypsies, a troop of scouts, a party of friends, an army of soldiers, a band of musicians, a class of students, a staff of teachers, a mob of rioters, etc. The illustrations are there to help visual learners to remember. Encourage students to read each card as they match them (to help the auditory learners).
*Update 2021: An Easel Activity has been created for your students. The Easel version has 23 collective nouns.
See each of my collective noun matching games separately for ♞ animals, ⛹ people and ⛴ things here!
